Google Voice Local Search Just Launched

Just minutes ago, Google updated their Google Labs page with what they call "Google Voice Local Search". It appears to be similar, if not related, to the long dead "voice search" project that doesn't work anymore.

Google Maps Adds User Mashups

Last night Google launched My Maps, a new Google Map service that makes it easy for anyone to create map mashups for Google Maps and Google Earth. The new tools can be found in a tab on the left side of the map interface and allow even non-technical users to easily annotate and share maps.
